Taylor and Ashley both begrudgingly found themselves on Hinge; he was still stationed in Georgia, and she was in Pittsburgh. He "liked" her photo since both of them were too cheap to pay for the app subscription. She sent him a simple "thank you", which left him perplexed on how to respond…like how does one respond to “thank you” in a cute but not annoying kind of way?Taylor obviously figured it out because he and Ashley are here as a testament that you can, in fact, find "your person" with a simple heart emoji and a "thank you." They talked every day since that fateful day in January of 2024, immediately knowing this connection was different—one worth building and waiting for. After Taylor moved to Pittsburgh in the spring, they bought their first home together in August of 2025, combining their dog children, Chubs, Dylan, and Millie into a vintage 1905 home in the cute little town of Coraopolis. This home will forever be special not only as their first home together but also because on the morning of August 29, 2025, Taylor proposed in the living room, playing their favorite song and asking Ashley, "to be his Wednesday Addams forever."

After barging into Rachel’s dorm room for a closer bathroom and bonding over subpar meals at Molly’s after working late at the worst jobs in retail history, Ashley and Rachel’s friendship is one destined for forever. 
They’ve been soul bonded through the birth of Rachel's daughter, Dawson, who lovingly has an "Auntie Ashley", deaths from parents to pets, ends, and now the most loving and anticipated beginning❤️.

Stationed together in England and then sharing an 8x8 room during a deployment to Qatar....you really get to know a guy. Their friendship has continued for the past 10 years, over their AVID love of golf, through moves over Christmas Day with a newborn to now back in the same city. Taylor is known to both of Matt's children as "Uncle Boof" and now gets to cash in on all the "I owe you ones" by having Matt as his best man.
